Grab a coffee and enjoy a laugh as we watch Ryan complete his World Record Breaking "Half Marathon in a Bee Suit"....trying to eat and drink while in a bee suit is a bit of a mission, what better way to Fuel Up than HIVEENERGY

UPDATE 2nd December 2024

Ryan competed at the Xiamen Half Marathon where he ran in a 🐝 Bee Suit! Yes, you read that right! Some of us struggle to wear these things on a hot day at the best of times, but to run 21KM in 1:57:35 ....WOW 🥵

He now goes down in the Guinness World Records as the fastest man in the world to complete a half marathon in a Bee Suit, breaking the record by 4 minutes!

Ryans Schedule for China

"Can’t wait to fly to Hainan on the 17th of November. I’ve got 2 big goals in mind.

1. Break 1:20 in the half on November 24th when I fly to Zhaoqing.

2. Break the world record for the fastest half marathon in a beekeeper suit (male) on the 1st of December. This wouldn’t be possible without @hiveenergynz for providing a beekeeper suit and the best natural sports gels. Made out of honey, not out of chemicals😬

Ryan Yoon - Half Marathon Runner

HiveEnergy is proud to announce our lates sponsored Athlete - Ryan Yoon. Ryan is a 17-year-old Half marathon runner based in Christchurch. After running the Christchurch half in 1:32. He's been spending the last 6 months training for a sub-1:20 half. Ryan was fortunate enough to be selected in the lottery and in less than 3 weeks will be racing against an elite field of 15000 runners in China. Ryan will be traveling around China, racing on the 24th November, 1st December, 15th December, and 29th December, to make his international debut.

We will regularly update this Blog Post with Ryans progress as he travels around China over the coming months.
